
G.A. Midgley, ironmonger: workshop ledger, 1910
A ledger has survived covering 1905-14 containing the records of the workshop of Midgley's ironmongers. It records the details of each job, hours taken and (presumably) price charged to the customer, which was added in red by someone else. It shows the sorts of thing which were brought in for repair and the customers who came in (or sent their staff). Below we have transcribed p.132 from 1910. The best customer was Edwards Creameries of Station Road.
