Notes
Ellen Bence was buried at Winslow on 25 Oct 1679 but the probate was not registered at St Albans until 1681. She was the widow of Thomas Bence, and the children named in the will are:
- Ellen: bap. 11 June 1648
- William: bap. 1 June 1650
Anne is not recorded, and could have been the daughter of an earlier marriage.
