Warrant on Administration being granted to Sarah Carpenter widow in the goods of George Carpenter her late husband deceased, 12 July 1798.
Appeared personally Sarah Carpenter, widow of George Carpenter late of Winslow Tanner, lately died intestate and prayed that administration be granted.

[pro forma] Sarah Carpenter of Winslow widow, Newman Williatt gent. of Buckingham and George Jones laceman of Winslow were bound to the Archdeacon for £1,000.

George Carpenter lived at 30 Horn Street, with his tanyard on the other side of the road. His mother was Ann Blake; see Blake family page for more information. He was the father of Susanna Bainbridge (d.1851).
Sarah the widow (nee Watkins, from North Marston) subsequently married Thomas Yeates. See her will.
