In the name of God Amen I Francis Dorsett of Winslowe in the County of Bucks Grocer being Weake in body but of perfect  minde and memory praised be Allmighty God therefore Doe make and Ordayne this my Last Will and Testament in manner followeing that is to say First I Com(m)end my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God my maker hopeing through the Meritts of Jesus Christ my Saviour to be made pertaker of Everlasting Life and my Body I com(m)itt to the Earth to be decently buryed att the discretion of my Executrixes herein after named And as for such Temporall Estate as itt hath pleased Allmighty God to bestowe upon me I Give and Dispose thereof as followeth. Impri(mi)s I doe Will Devise and Bequeath unto Robert Dorsett my Sonn the Sum(m)e of Twelve Pence. Item I Give and Bequeath unto Elizabeth Dorsett my Daughter the sume of Twelve pence Item I give and bequeath unto Grace my Wife the sum(m)e of twelve pence Item All the rest of my Personall Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I Give and Bequeath unto Grace Parncutt and Joan Dorsett my Daughters Paying my Debts and Legacyes soe farr forth as the Inventory of my Personal Estate shall unto whom I make full Executrixes of this my Last Will and Testament And I doe hereby desire Nominate and Appoint Thomas Prentice of Winslowe aforesaid Yeoman and Simon Hogson of Winslowe aforesaid Yeoman [blank space filled in] to be Overseers of this my last Will and Testament and I Give unto each of them Twenty Shillings apeice for their paines to be taken in the Overseeing thereof desireing them in the name of God to see this my last Will and Testament performed Accordingly And I lastly do hereby Revoke all former Wills by me heretofore made and doe declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my Hand and Seale this Eighth day of May in the Eleaventh Years of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord William the Third by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defend(er) of the Fayth &c in the Yeare of Our Lord 1699.

Notes

Francis Dorsett or Dossett served as overseer of the poor and churchwarden at various times. He was buried on 9 April 1701. In 1692 he wrote in the details of his children in the baptismal register, presumably because only one of them was baptised at Winslow:
