Notes

Robert Eden was probably the son of Robert Eden the elder, carpenter, d.1710, but if so Elizabeth must have been his third wife. He married Elizabeth Brittain at Winslow on 6 Jan 1703/4. They had a daughter, Elizabeth, bap. 5 Oct 1704, but her mother was buried on 10 Oct. He then married Joyce (surname unknown) and their children included Joyce (bap. 13 May 1708), Mary (5 May 1715), Ann (21 Feb 1716/17), John (16 March 1717/18). Robert was buried at Winslow on 17 April 1747.
