Administration of Ann Gibbs, 1785

Appeared personally John Gibbs and alleged that Ann Gibbs formerly Noon late of Winslow in the County of Bucks departed this life on the 18th Day of August last Intestate.  That he the Appearer is the lawful Husband of the said deceased, Wherefore he prayed Letters of Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels \& Credits/ of the said deceased to be committed and granted to him on giving sufficient security.

Let Administration pass as prayed the said John Gibbs having been duly sworn faithfully to administer the Effects as also that the same do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred Pounds – before me

Notes

This comes from the London Diocesan Court rather than St Albans Archdeaconry, so property outside Winslow must have been involved.
