In the name of god amen the yere of o(ur) lord god mdxxx I John Hartwell of hoole memory thankyd be god make my last wyll in this man(er) folowyng First I bequethe my soule to almyghty god to o(ur) blessed lady & to all the holy company of hevyn & my body to be buried in the churchyard of Wynslowe. It(e)m I wyll dirige & masse \to/ be saide for me in the church of saint Laurence of Wynslow monethly by the space of oon yere. It(e)m I bequethe to the high awter ij busshells of whete & to ev(er)y awt(er) in the same church ij busshells of barly. It(e)m I bequethe to the Roode lyghte to the se[pulchr?]e lyghte to the bells & to the torches to eche of them ij busshells of barly. It(e)m to my sist(er) Margarete Lecke a cowe & a quart(er) of barly. It(e)m to Richard Hartwell a cowe a quart(er) of barly & a pott. It(e)m to Thomas Grene the son of Will(ia)m Grene a quart(er) of barly & a cowe. It(e)m to Alice John Jhon Nicholas & Agnes Grene the children of Will(ia)m Grene to ev(er)y of them a bullock & half a quart(er) of barly. It(e)m to Thomas Lane a quart(er) of seed barly & to Alice his wyff a hekfor. It(e)m to ev(er)y oon of the chyldren of Thomas Lane a bullok & half a quart(er) of barly. It(e)m to John Haukyns a coote cloth of whyte & to Will(ia)m his son a bullok And to ev(er)y oon of my godchildren a busshell of barly. The residue of all my goods not bequethyd, my detts paid & legacies p(er)formed I geve & bequethe to Thomas Mayne & Agnes his wyf whom I make myn Executors to dispose them as they thynke best for the welth of my soule & all cristen soules Thes be witnes Richard Stratton p(re)st Will(ia)m Tomlyns Walt(er) Graunt & Thomas Elyatt.
