This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Line of Shipton in the Parish of Winslow in the County of Bucks Dairyman First I give and bequeath unto my Son Thomas Line and Samuel Greaves Dudley of Winslow aforesaid Auctioneer All my household Goods and Furniture Linen Farming Stock both alive and dead Implements in husbandry Dairy Utensils ready Money Book debts and all other my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever To hold the same and every part thereof unto the said Thomas Line and Samuel Greaves Dudley their Executors Administrators and Assigns Upon Trust that they the said Thomas Line and Samuel Greaves Dudley or the Survivor of them his Executors Administrators or Assigns do and shall as soon as conveniently may be after my decease sell and dispose of my said personal Estate and Effects or such parts thereof as shall not consist of money and shall be saleable for the most money and best price or prices that can be reasonably had or gotten for the same And do and shall collect and get in all debts and Sums of money that may be due and owing to me And the money arising by such Sale and Disposition and the collecting and getting in of the said Debts (after paying and discharging all such debts as I may justly owe at the time of my decease my funeral and testamentary Expenses and the Costs and Charges incident to and attending the Sale and disposition of my said personal Estate and Effects and the collecting and getting in of the said debts) to pay and divide unto and among my Sons and Daughters Henry Line the said Thomas Line William Line George Line Elizabeth Line Sophia Line Sarah Line and Mary Line equally share and share alike and to whom I give and bequeath the same respectively accordingly And I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Thomas Line and Samuel Greaves Dudley joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament And my Mind and will is and I do hereby direct that my said Executors and Trustees shall each of them be answerable for his own acts and deeds only and not the one of them for the other of them And that they or either of them shall not be answerable for any more money than shall be actually received by them or come to their hands respectively nor for any loss or reduction therein without their or one of their wilful neglect or default And also that they shall retain all their Costs Damages and Expenses in the Trusts or Executorship of this my Will out of the Estate and Effects in them respectively vested by virtue thereof or out of the monies arising therefrom In witness whereof I the said Edward Line the Testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal this eighth day of September in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.

Edward Line lived at the farm later called Rands Farm. He was buried at Winslow on 19 Sep 1823 aged 73.
