In the name of God Amen I Mary Meaks of the parish of Addington in the County of Bucks Widdow being weak in body butt in p(er)fect minde and memory praised be God therefore Doe Make and Ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my creator hoping through the merritts of my Blessed Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and to inheritt Everlasting life and my body I Committ to the Earth to bee Decently buried att the Discrission of my Execut(o)r hereafter named And as Touching the Disposicion of all such Temporall Estate as itt has pleased God Almighty to bestowe upon me,
I Give and Dispose the Same as followeth first I will that all my Debts and [?]funeral [?]expences shall be paid and Discharged
It(em) I Give unto my daughter Frances Meaks of Thornborough in the said County of Bucking{ham) single woman A Cofer Blankett Boulster and pillow and alsoe the su(m)me of Twenty shillings of [?]good and lawfull money of Great Britaine
It(em) all the rest of my Goods and Chattles Land and Tenem(en)ts I doe Give and bequeath unto my
Son Joseph Meaks of Addington afores(ai)d And lastly I doe make and Ordaine my said Son
Joseph Meaks Execut(o)r of this my Last Will and Testam(en)t And doe hereby revoke all former Wills and Testam(en)ts heretofore by me made in Wittness whereof I the said Mary Meaks have set my hand and seall the Third Day of July Anno Domini 1710

Mary Meaks was buried at Addington on 27 Aug 1717. She was the widow of Anthony Meaks who died in 1687. Joseph Meaks the son died in 1732; see his will.
