Know all Men by these presents that We Alice Morris of the parish of Winslow, Widow, William Verney, of the said parish, Glasier and Plummer and Mark Morris, of Thornton, Dealer are become bound unto the Worshipful George Paul, Doctor of Laws in and throughout the whole Archdeaconry of Saint Alban in the Diocese of London Official Lawfully Constituted in the sum of one hundred pounds of Good and Lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid to him the said George Paul or his Lawful Attorny Executors Administrators or Assigns for the good and faithful payment of which Summ We bind ourselves and Each of us jointly and severally for the whole Our Heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals Dated the three and twentieth day of October in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and forty seven.
The Condition of this Obligation is such that if Alice Morris abounden the widow relict and Administratrix of John Morris late of the Parish of Winslow in the County of Bucks aforesaid Dealer Deceased do make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of her the said Alice Morris or into the hands and possession of any other person or persons for her and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the Archdeaconrie of Saint Albans at or before the last day of March next ensuing … … and further do make or cause to be made a true and just Accompt of her said Administration at or before the last day of October which shall be in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and forty eight … … Then this obligation to be void and of none effect or else to remain in full force and virtue.

John Morris was buried at Winslow on 6 Sep 1747. John Morrice and Alice Henly, both of Winslow, were married at Aston Abbotts on 24 Jan 1723.
