Notes
John Norman lived at 10 High Street. He was buried 16 July 1684. He was married by 22 April 1665 when his daughter Elizabeth was baptised. He and his family were the beneficiaries of the will of Elizabeth Foster (d.1667). He was probably the father of William Norman (1660-1728).
According to the 1667 court roll, John was a shoemaker and the son of Michael Norman. He was baptised 5 May 1633, and is not to be confused with John son of William Norman (d.1659), bap. 6 Oct 1646.
