In etc. 14 June 1479 I John Punteys of Schypton in the parish of Wynslowe sound etc. and my body to be buried in the graveyard of the parish church of Wynselowe aforesaid.  Item I bequeath to the high altar 3 bushels of barley.  Item to the altar of the blessed Mary 2 bushels of barley. Item I bequeath to the altar of the blessed Mary in purification 2 bushels of barley.  Item to the altar of St Nicholas 2 bushels of barley.  Item to the altar of St Thomas the martyr 2 bushels of barley.  Item I bequeath to the repair of the torches 2 bushels of barley.  Item to the light of the holy cross 2 bushels of barley.  The residue indeed I give and bequeath to my executors.  And Alice my wife, William Corteys and Robert Elyot I ordain, make and appoint my executors to dispose for the salvation of my soul as etc.
