In the name of God Amen On The Thirteenth day of August in the yeare of our Lord One Thowsand Six Hundred Fiftie Seaven I Henry Sandys of Litle Harwood in the Countie of Bucke Esq. being of a Full and perfect understanding God be Praysed thoughe weake in Bodie through Age doe make this my Last will & Test(a)m(e)nt in manner & forme following. And first I doe bequeath my soule into the Hands of the Almightie God assuredlie Trusting by the Merits and Passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ onlie after this Transitorie Life to enjoy eternall felicitie. My bodie I leave to ye earth To be buried as it shall seeme fit to my Executor hereafter named Item I doe give unto my sonne Edwyn Sandys, and his Heires for ever All that five Acres of arable Land and Half a Quarter Common Lying dispersed in the Common Field of Litle Harwood in the Countie of Bucks aforesaid which I purchased of \one/ Arthur Mowlbury al(ia)s Smyth for the Summe of Thirtie Five Pounds in my daughter Hester Sandys name in trust onlie she paying noe part or parcell of the said monie Yet she and her husband Mr James Selby have since Conveyed out of my House & Custody the deed of Bargaine and Sale of the said Land bearing Date on or about the nine & Twentieth Day of December One Thowsand Six Hundred Fortie Nine without my privitie haveing earnestlie and often before sollicited me to give them the said Land But I allwaies denied soe to doe Haveing before given her a sufficient porc(i)on in marriage Item I give unto my daughter Bridget James the summe of Fiftie pounds. Item I give unto my daughter Dorothy Roysden the Summe of Fiftie Pounds. To be disposed of as my said daughter Dorothy Roysden and my Daughter Mary Williamson shall think fit. It(e)m I give unto my daughter Mary Williamson the summe of Fiftie Pounds. It(e)m I give unto my daughter Judith Parre the summe of Fiftie pounds To be disposed of as my said Daughter Judith Parre & my daughter Mary Williamson shall think fit. It(e)m I give unto Edwin Sandys the sonne of my sonne Edwine Sandys my guilt Bacole with the Cover, and my guilt Salt and Twentie pounds in monie. It(e)m I give unto Lluellin the sonne of my daughter Bridget James the summe of Twentie pounds. It(e)m I give unto Mary Roysden and to Hester Roysden the daughters of my daughter Dorothy Roysden the Summe of Twentie Pounds To be devided by equall Porc(i)ons unto them Item I give unto John Robinson, the Sonne of my daughter Marie Williamson the sum(m)e of Twentie pounds. It(e)m I give unto Edward Parr the Sonne of my Daughter Judith Parr the Summe of Thirtie Pounds. It(e)m I give unto Hester Parr the Daughter of my daughter Judith Parr the summe of Twentie Pounds. It(e)m I give unto my Sonne in Law John Roysden All my Carts and Cart horses. And All other my goods and Chattles whatsoever not before given & bequeathed to my said Children. I give unto my above menconed Sonne Edwyn Sandys whom I also ordaine and make my sole and onlie Executor of this my Last will and Testament. And doe hereby revoke and annull All former wills whatsoever. In witnes whereof I the said Henry Sandys have hereunto subscribed my name & set my seale at Armes unto this my present last will & Testament This day and year first above Written.
