Item to my sonn Thomas his 3 children five pounds to be equally divided which [....] lyeth in the hands of William Glenister

Secondly to my daughter
one [?] coverlet
Item I bequeath to Anne King my daughter the summe of twenty shillings p(er) annum to be payed bye Thomas Dandridge for so long [....] as is expressed in a lease betwene him & I of which twenty shillings John King the husband of the aforesaid Anne shall paye to Jone my now wife six shillings eight pence per annum

Item I bequeath to Ann Deely the younger one pewter dish

Item to Elizabeth Bendbow daughter of Thomas Bendbow one feather pillow

Item I bequeath to the poore of Winslow twenty shillings to be paid next Christmas by my wife Jone

Item for all the rest of my goods \unbequeathed/ I make substitute ordaine & appoint my wife Jone my sole executrix

Notes

John Sheffeld was buried at Winslow on 11 Aug 1661. He held a messuage and 11 acres in Shipton which passed to his son Thomas (see 1661 court). His first wife Jane was buried on 23 Aug 1644. He then married Mary Tomlin on 7 Oct 1644. She died in 1657 or 1658 and he married Joan Gadlingstock of Swanbourne at Winslow on 27 Feb 1658/9. His children baptised at Winslow were:
