Notes

No will of Elizabeth Showler has survived, and the reason why her inventory was presented to the PCC and not at St Albans is unknown. The Winslow burial records for 1669 are missing. She could be the Elizabeth Foster who married Thomas Showler in 1657; see Mitchell family.
