Notes

Thomas Steevens was buried on 27 Nov 1641. He was probably the son of Damian Stevens bap. 10 June 1596. The baptisms of Mary and Joan are not recorded at Winslow. The other children mentioned in the will are:

birdinge pece: gun for bird-shooting

chistres: unidentified. Perhaps some sort of cheese-vat?

Loakes = locks: low quality wool. A tod was a weight of wool, usually 2 stone.

flasket: a long, shallow basket (OED)
