In the name of God amen. On 6 October AD 1485 I William Thomlyns of Wynselow sound of mind etc. make my will etc., and my body to be buried in the churchyard of the parish church of Wynselow aforesaid. Item I bequeath to the high altar for 10 oblations 1 bushel of wheat, 1 bushel of barley and 1 bushel of beans, and to the other altars in the church 4 bushels of barley. Item to the mother church of St Albans 4d. Item to the torches 2 bushels of barley. Item to the repair of the bells 2 bushels of barley. Item I bequeath a trental to be celebrated for my soul. The residue indeed etc. I give and bequeath to my executrix, and Katherine my wife I ordain, make and appoint my executrix to dispose etc.
