In etc. 12 December AD 1471. I William Tomlyns of Wynselow sound of mind make etc. Item I bequeath to the high altar 2 bushels of barley. Item I bequeath to the high altar of St Mary in the church 1 bushel of barley. Item to the altar of St Mary in purification 1 bushel of barley. Item to the altar of St Nicholas 1 bushel of barley. Item I bequeath to the altar of St Thomas the martyr 1 bushel of barley. Item I bequeath to the light of the cross 1 bushel of barley. Item to the repair of the torches 1 bushel of barley. Item I bequeath ij surplices [superpellicia] for two boys. The residue indeed etc. I give and bequeath to my executrix. And for this will I ordain, make and appoint Alice my wife my executrix to dispose, etc.

Notes
William was the son of Henry Tomlyn, d.1452. According to his father's will he had 5 daughters. He must be the William sometimes labelled "the younger" in the Court Books to distinguish him from his cousin(?) William Tomlyn, d.1464.
