In the Name of God Amen I Jane Townsend of Shipton in the Parish of Winslow in the County of Bucks Widdow being weakly of Body but of Sound and perfect Mind and Memory (Praise be therefore given to Allmighty God) do make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following That is to say First and principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Allmighty God hopeing through the Merrits death and passion of Jesus Christ to have full and free Pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and to inherit everlasting Life and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named And as touching the disposition of all such temporal Estate as it hath pleased Allmighty God to bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I will that my Debts and Funerall Expenses shall be all paid and discharged Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Dymmock one feather bed one feather bolster my great Cupboard one pair of sheets my dish-kettle the blanket that lieth upon the Feather bed and my brass pan Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Katherine Holland my bedstead in the Parlor my biggest Brass pot one barrel one tub my great chair in the Parlor my best coverlet and my best feather bolster Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Henry Townsend the curtains and curtain rods about (or belonging) to the bed he hath already Item I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Anne (the daughter of my Son William Townsend) my best Kettle Item I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Joane Townsend my least box in the Parlour my plumb cupboard one pewter platter and one pair of sheets. Item I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Jane Townsend one feather pillow one pair of sheets and one Platter Item I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Emma Line my great Skillet and one pillow Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Charles Dymmock the sum of forty shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid him within one {one} year after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Thomas Dymmock the sum of forty shilings of like lawfull money of England to br paid him within one year after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Katherine King one little Kettle and one spit Item I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Mary Holland one little table and frame one pewter platter and one feather bolster All the

[f.2] Rest and residue of my Personal estate goods chattels rights and Credits whatsoever (not herein before bequeathed) I give and bequeath unto my Son Henry Townsend In trust and Confidence that he the said Henry Townsend (my son) shall well and truly pay off and discharge (out of my Goods and Chattels) all and every such summ and summs of money both principall and interest as shall (at the time of my decease) be found due and owing upon a Bond wherein and whereby the said Henry Townsend (my son) together with my late Son in law John Dymmock deceased is allready bound and of and from the payment of the said principal and Interest and every part and parcel thereof shall save harmless and indemnified the heirs executors and administrators of the said John Dymmock according to the true Intent and meaning of this my Last Will and Testament And I do constitute and appoint the said Henry Townsend (my Son) full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament I do hereby revoke disannull and make void all former and other Wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Jane Townsend have to this my Last Will and Testament sett my hand and Seal this one and twentieth day of November in the fourth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland Queen defender of the faith &c Annoque Domini 1705.
