Notes

John Elyot was apparently the son of John Elyot d.1441. Robert his son was probably Robert Elyat d.1506.

The court rolls of Dinton for 18 Oct 1439 record that Alice daughter of John Kennere sr of Dinton had married John Elyot of Schypton without licence (BAS Library, Gurney 51).
