In the name of god amen The xth day of Aprill 1617 I Richard Helie of Winslow in the County of Bucks husbandman being sicke in body but in p(er)fect memorie god be praysed for it, do make this my last will and testament in maner & forme following First I bequeath my soule unto allmighty god who hath created me and redeemed me by his sone Jesus Christ my onely Saviour And my body to be decently buried in the Churchyard in Winslow Also as touching my worldly goods I give unto my daughter Alice Fell one old carved Cubbord after my wyves decease Item I give unto Margaret Aston daughter of Thomas Aston one bedstead, one table & frame, and one Chest to be delivered unto her after the decease of my wyfe Ite(m) I give unto my sone William Helie one brass panne and all my other worldly goods, making him my sole executor, and my loving frends Roberte Glenister & William Glenister my overseers to see this last my will and testament p(er)formed In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale the day and yeare first above written

Notes

Richard Helie was buried at Winslow on 27 May 1617. He held 2 cottages and 3 acres of land according to the schedule of 1610. William son of Richard Haile was baptised on 28 Sep 1572, and Alice Heylye was baptised on 3 Sep 1577. As Alice Haylie she married Rowland Fell on 27 Oct 1608.
