On 16 May 1828 appeared George Jones the younger, late of Winslow but now of Buckingham, Lacebuyer, and alledged that he was the husband of Ann Jones, late of Winslow, who died intestate on 27 Nov 1820 [sic]. The goods do not amount to £200.
Sworn before James Preedy, surrogate.
Administration bond for £400 granted to:
George Jones, late of Winslow, now of Buckingham, Lacebuyer
Thomas Jones of Winslow, farmer
George Cross the younger of Winslow, draper
George Jones is to make an inventory by the last day of November next, accompts by the last day of May 1829.

See the Blake Family page for more information. George (d.1836) was the eldest son of George Jones (1771-1834) and Elizabeth Blake (1774-1856). Ann was the daughter of Thomas Morecraft, butcher (d.1807) and his wife Ann, nee Gibbs (d.1828). She was already dead when her mother made her will in 1824.
