Notes

Thomas Ridgway was a grocer at 29 High Street: see the inventory taken after his death. He took over the business previously run by Edward & Annie Fenn in the late 1870s.

Thomas was born at Hillesden in 1853. He married Maria Wood at Winslow in 1876; she was born at North Marston. Maria ran the shop after Thomas' death and she is listed with 4 children in the 1891 Census. The shop was advertised to let in 1892. They had moved to Upper Blackgrove Farm, Waddesdon by 1901.
