In the name of god amen The first day of March anno d(omi)ni 1619
I Henry Wallis of Winslow in the County of Bucks Baker
being sicke in body but in good & p(er)fect remembrance (god be
praysed for it) do make this my last will & testament in maner
and forme following: First I bequeath my soule unto allmigh[ty]
god who created me and redeemed me by his sonne Jesus Christ [by]
whose merits onely I trust to be saved: and my body to be dec[ently]
buried in the churchyard of Winslow. Concerning my wor[ldly]
goods I give unto the poore of the parish twentie shillings to [be]
distributed amongst them in bread. All the rest of my goods I [give]
unto Marion my wife, if she continue all the residue of hir life
in widowhood, whom I make my sole executrix, to have the use
of all my sayd goods during hir natural life, and so to dispose
of them accordingly. But yf it happen that the sayd Marion my
wife do marrie againe, then my will is that my sone Henrie
and my three daughters Dorothie, Anne & Margaret shall have
each of them a ioyned bedsteed & a featherbed with all other furniture
thereto belonging, my sayd sone Henry having the first choice. My
overseers of this my last will and testament I do ordaine my
sonne Mr Robert Wallis, and my loving friend Mr Robert
Maynwaring, and to either of them I give five shillings a peece,
for their paynes. in witness whereof I have hereunto sett
my hand & seale the day and yeare first above written.

make this my last will and testament in maner and forme following.
First I bequeath my soule unto almightie god who created me
and redeemed me by his sone Jesus Christ by whose merits onely
I trust to obtayne remission of my sinnes and consequently eternal
life in his heavenly kingdome. And my body to be decently buried
in the Churchyard of Winslow aforesaid. Concerning my worldly
goods also I give unto my two sones Thomas Wallis and Henry
Wallis the somme of ten pounds a peece, And to Thomas Wallis
the eldest sone of the sayd Thomas the some of five pounds to be
imployed for his use until he cometh to the age of one and twentie
years. And to all the rest of my grand Children I give five shillings
apeece. Item I give unto my three daughters Dorothy, Anne and
Margaret five pounds apeece in money. To each of them four pairs
of sheetes and two pillowbeeares, one table cloth and halfe a dozen of
napkins apeece. Item to my sone Thomas Wallis his wife I give
four pairs of sheetes and two pillowbeeares, one table cloth and halfe a
dozen of napkins. Also to the poore of the parish I give twentie
shillings to be distributed among them in bread at my funeral. The
rest of my goods unbeaqueathed I leave to my sone Robert Wallis
whom I make my sole Executor and my loving friends Robert
Maynwaring & William Edmunds overseers to see this my
last will & Testament p(er)formed, and to either of them I give five
shillings for their paynes in witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand & seale the day and year first above written.

Notes
Henry Wallis was buried at Winslow on 3 April 1620 and Marian Wallis on 23 Nov 1621. They were married at Winslow on 15 Feb 1578/9; Marian was nee Glenister and the goddaughter of Robert Hassall. Henry held 2 roods of land according to the schedule of 1610. Their children were baptised at Winslow:
- Robert: 27 Jan 1579/80. He was probably the Robert Wallis who was Rector of Mursley 1621-39.
- Dorothy: 2 April 1581; married (1) John Mason (d.1612) 17 Nov 1605; (2) Henry Pym 2 Nov 1617
- John: 30 Nov 1586
- Peter: 22 April 1589
- Elizabeth: 17 June 1591
- The baptism of Thomas is missing unless he has been confused with one of the above
- Anne(?): 7 Sep 1595; married William Wyat 30 Oct 1615 (name given as Agnes)
- Margaret: 3 March 1597/8; married John Stutsburie 9 Nov 1618
- Barbara: 22 July 1600, bur. 2 Oct 1600
- Henry: 23 May 1604
Marian's will was proved at St Albans on the same day as John Stutsberie's.
